Dust laden airs enter the Venturi and instantly make contact with scrubbing water swiveling down the venturi’s converging walls. Scrubbing water is pumped thro water header and distributed thro free bore nozzles before throat area. At Venturi throat, the dust air and water stream collide and the water breaks down into droplets, which traps dust particles. Mixture of dust & water (slurry) alongwith air passes through a flooded elbow and enters into cyclonic type water separator there the centrifugal action removes the heavy wetted particles from the airstream’s, then, this slurry will be drained out through given outlet to sedimentation tank for re-circulation of water to certain extent.
