Damper

A damper is a valve or plate that stops or regulates the flow of air inside a duct, air handler, or other air-handling equipment. Its operation can be manual or automatic. Manual dampers are turned by a handle on the outside of a duct. Automatic dampers are used to regulate airflow constantly and are operated by electric or pneumatic motors, in turn controlled by a thermostat or with any automation system.

The Flow Control Damper able to control the direction of fluid flow and also able to varies volume of flow through a system. It helps to regulate the quantity of flow needed by the system. The regulation of the valve can be controlled with help of Pneumatic or Electrical actuators.

The Bleed Air Damper is an emergency damper which is designed to eliminate temperature flue gases from steel melting process. With the help of Pneumatic or electrical actuator using PID controller is provided to intake the atmospheric air to dilute the flue gases in high temperature. It Saves and increases the filter bag life which has reduction in maintenance cost.
