Roof extractor

Roof extractor

Roof extractor

The roof extractor is a motor driven fan unit and is provided with durable weather proof exhaust hood. This is ideal for extraction or air supply through the roof, usually preferred in factories, power plant, steel plant and foundries

Bifurcator fans

Bifurcator fans

Bifurcator fans

This fan is mostly placed to exhaust the air of corrosive nature or hazardous for the motor. In this, the motor is not in the stream of air, thus remain protected from the contaminated gas stream.

Ventilation fan

Ventilation fan

Ventilation fan

This is a high pressure fan comprising of two impellers with different number of blades, connected in series and rotating in opposite directions. Each impeller is driven by a direct-coupled motor. The axial flow fan type has a wide range of applications and has proved especially suitable for ventilation of Mines, Tunnels etc. where it can be directly fitted into the ventilation duct. It is further important to note that this fan is reversible and therefore, it can be used both as supply and exhaust fan.

Industrial mancoolers

Industrial mancoolers

Industrial mancoolers

We bring an effective solution to the cooling problem in the industrial working places for men, materials and machines. The Range covers the following three types of Mancooler:

ITM : INDOFAN Tubular Mounted
ICM : INDOFAN Column Mounted
IPM : INDOFAN Pedestal Mounted

All these Mancoolers are fitted with a totally enclosed fan cooled motor, cast alloy aluminium impeller, strong wire guard and are complete with its required mountings / fittings.

Dust Collector/Bagfilter - Dust Collection

Dust Collector/Bagfilter

Bag filter

Bag filter consists of a number of tubular filter bag sleeves arranged in a square or rectangular matrix. These sleeves are supported from inside on steel wire cages to prevent them from collapsing .The dust laden air is drawn through the filter bag sleeves by an externally connected Centrifugal Blower in its downstream end and thereby dust gets collected on the outside surface of the filter bag sleeves. The sleeves are periodically cleaned by short blasts (pulse) of compressed air.

These blasts are in the opposite direction to the flow of dust laden air. This reverse flow flexes the fabric bags away from the cages and loosens the dust cake collected on to bags and the process is repeated for every row of bags. The filter media (standard fabric) is synthetic and non-woven needled felt. The suiting filter fabrics/media are available for different air/gas temperatures and as per the application requirement. Apart from High ratio (Pulse jet) Bag filters, low ratio Bag filters of mechanical shaking type are also offered by us for specific applications.

Venturi scrubber

Venturi scrubber

Venturi scrubber

State of art technology venturi scrubbers are offered, which are most effective equipments for scrubbing the heavy smoke and dust from gas stream. Because of their ability to achieve high particle removal efficiencies and handle heavy dust loadings without plugging, venturi scrubbers are the most popular scrubber used to remove particulate matter. Venturis produce high particle to liquid droplet velocities in order to achieve good particle removal.

Its important features are:

a.	Compact design.
b.	Easy & stable Operation.
c.	Good Scrubbing efficiency
d.	Suitable for high concentration of pollutant.
e.	All static construction, so easily maintainable.

Dust laden airs enter the Venturi and instantly make contact with scrubbing water swiveling down the venturi’s converging walls. Scrubbing water is pumped thro water header and distributed thro free bore nozzles before throat area.
At Venturi throat, the dust air and water stream collide and the water breaks down into droplets, which traps dust particles.
Mixture of dust & water (slurry) alongwith air passes through a flooded elbow and enters into cyclonic type water separator there the centrifugal action removes the heavy wetted particles from the airstream’s, then, this slurry will be drained out through given outlet to sedimentation tank for re-circulation of water to certain extent.

Cyclones and multi-cyclones - Dust Separation

Cyclones and multi-cyclones - Dust Separation

Cyclones and multi-cyclones

Cyclones and Multi-Cyclones provide ideal solution to the problem of collecting the shavings, extracted dust in working plants, bark & chips, and adapted in other dust extraction systems. Centrifugal force causes the suspended material to move towards the wall of the cyclone from where the separating out material drops by gravity along the wall of the cyclone unit; leaving the air to escape through the top. A number of small cyclone (collector) cells are grouped together to form a multi-cyclone, which attain high efficiency due to its smaller diameter feature; and is simultaneously suitable for handling large air quantity. The main advantage of cyclone include simplicity in design and construction, ease of operation and maintenance, has no moving parts and operates on a lower pressure drop - thus requiring lower energy for dust separation . The main limitation is its inability to offer higher efficiencies for smaller and lighter particles. A number of cyclones can be operated in parallel to treat larger volume.

Packed bed type scrubber

Packed bed type scrubber

Packed bed type scrubber

Acid fume scrubbers are offered, which are most effective equipments for scrubbing water soluble gaseous pollutants. In this device the foul gas is brought in contact with water so as to dissolve the contaminant and thus the gas stream is cleaned.

Its important features are:

a.	Compact design.
b.	Simple & Reliable Operation.
c.	High Scrubbing efficiency
d.	Suitable for high or low concentration of pollutant.
e.	All static construction, so easily maintainable.

We also provide conventional Packed/Floating bed Scrubbers in Vertical as well as Horizontal Versions. The material of construction for the above types of scrubbers could be either Metallic or all Synthetic (PP/PVC+FRP).

The gases containing the fumes enter the scrubber from the bottom. It starts going up through the media chamber, due to the suction effect created by a blower.

The scrubbing liquid, generally water, flows down from the top, in the opposite direction. The water flowing down and the gases going up are thoroughly mixed in the packed bed section / media chamber, which generally contains raschig rings of suitable material that are randomly distributed. These rings help in complete mixing of gases and the water by creating a larger surface area of contact and thus, more residence time. The quantity of packing material depends on the concentration of the gases. The scrubbing medium can be any fluid that will help in neutralizing the fumes. The cleaned gases escape from the top while the scrubbing fluid falls to bottom tank, re-circulated for scrubbing.

We are also offering the following types of scrubbers
a.	Centrifugal/Vane Wet Scrubbers
b.	Impingement Wet Scrubbers
c.	Dynamic/Wet Fan Scrubbers
d.	Multi-Venturi Wet Scrubbers
The above scrubbers can be selected depends upon the application.

Wet scrubber

Wet scrubber

Wet scrubber

This unit is suitable for low pressure drop applications involving light and medium dust loadings and slurry recycling; It achieves high collection efficiencies in the 2-5 micron range with low liquid rates. It utilizes a tangential gas inlet and stationary scrubbing vanes to induce centrifugal motion of the gas for removal of dust. There are no moving parts. It's non-clogging, self-draining design makes it an ideal choice for light and medium fume/smoke scrubbing system.
